Announcing Restoring Joy to Leadership’s 2018 Joy Award Recipients and Nominees!

BY IN Uncategorized NO COMMENTS YET

Greetings,

The 2018 Restoring Joy Award recognizes nurses who add JOY to the work environment. Nurses from a variety of organizations were nominated for this award. Through this process, I hope to promote a focus on Joy in the work environment. Research recognizes the benefits of Joy in the workplace and its link to patient safety and satisfaction.

Enjoyment is the spark that ignites passion and enthusiasm. Joy is about recognizing that you are not how you feel. Joy is a state of the heart, an attitude of the mind and a condition of the will. The 2018 Restoring Joy Award winners are intentional in their efforts to add JOY to the work environment. In spite of the whirlwind, these nurses manage to brighten their environment with the light of a joyful heart!

Award recipients will be featured on the Restoring Joy to Leadership website in the near future as well as other media avenues. Award recipients receive complimentary registration to the 2018 Restore Joy Now conference as a way to promote strength for their continued journey.

All the nominations were heartfelt which made it quite difficult to select only a few joyful nurses to receive the Joyful Nurse Award. The Award Recipients were selected through a blind review process by a subgroup of Restoring Joy to Leadership Advisors. It is my hope to one day be able to provide all Joy Award Nominees with complimentary registration to the annual Restore Joy Now Conference.

A special thank you to those who took the time to nominate a joyful nurse!

Blessings,
